Today we went to the park up the street with Auntie Gina and cousins
Keen and Boon. Gong Gong and Pao Pao came, as well as Uncle David. It
was pretty cold out and so Mommy and Daddy put us in arctic tundra
protective wear. We were pretty warm. We slept most of the time, but
the bigger kids played on the playground. When we got back, Gong Gong
was worried about us because our little hands were cold. But we were
fine. We can't wait to get big enough to run around with the other
kids!

Life at Four and a Half Months
Grey Grey is starting to sing! He is super talkative and loves meeting new people. Grandpa especially seems to make him happy!
He grabs things with intention and loves playing with his Dino dinosaur
toy. He also is learning to flip over - front to back and back to
front! Brag alert - Grey Grey sleep trained himself. His sleep training
involved feeding him a bottle, story time, night time sleep sack and lay
him down. He then talks to his moblie reviewing his day, sucks his
thumb, turns on his side and off to dream land. Grey's favorite pastime
is looking out the front window to watch the cars go by. He focuses
really well and notices everytime a car passes by the window. We think
his ability to focus gets him overstimulated with large crowds. The
Heights Barkada Gift Exchange was a bit too much for him at first since
he tries to take everything in all at once.
Bellie is learning how to dance and is talking a lot more! She used to have a suspicious or melancholy look on her face, but is now all smiles. Feeding in the eveings has been a little challenging, and Mommy has doing a great job! We think she has some reflux and sometimes it hurts for her to eat. She is back on antacid which should help soon. Her tummie time has been AWESOME! She is much stronger and really enjoys the attention and exercise. She is showing signs of wanting to flip over, but is not quite there.
The pictures on this post were from Christmas in Sugarland. It got pretty cold, so they needed jackets. Tina picked the cutest jackets I have ever seen! Ellie's has ears which make her look adorable. Grey Grey's looks like a travel parka from Nepal, which is also adorable! Both were excellent Facebook posts.

Remembering the little things
Mommy post - I didn't want to forget all the little things that the
babies used to do that are already in the past because they are growing
up so fast! I remember Ellie smiling and turning her lips upwards when
we put the burp cloth around her neck. She knew it meant her bottle was
coming. I remember her little white spots on her nose when she came
home from the hospital that went away after a month or so. I remember
how Ellie used to keep her little hands in fists and how daddy thought
that was so cute until we learned it was a developmental milestone for
babies to open their hands. Also, Ellie cannot keep a sock on to save
her life!! I remember Grey's ooh-la-la face with his lips pursed in a
little cheerio smile. I remember how he hated being under the bilirubin
lights at the hospital with those styrofoam sunglasses on - poor little
baby would cry cry cry - and I felt so helpless because I couldn't pick
him up to soothe him. I remember when they came home how small they
were, we could carry each one on the underside of our forearms. I don't
want to forget these little things as already I feel like they are
growing up so fast.
Teething?
Daddy post - Both Ellie and Grey have been chewing on my finger for the
last 2 days. It is both sweet and sad for me. Sweet because they seem
to like it and I rub on their gums to make them feel better. Sad
because it means they are growing up.
